Tinkerbell Costume

Tinker Bell, is a fictional personality from J. M. Barrie’s 1904 play and 1911 novel Peter and Wendy. She has also appeared in multiple film and TV adaptations of the story, particularly the 1953 animated Walt Disney picture Peter Pan. She also appears in the’Peter and the Starcatchers’ book series by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry. At first only a supporting character described by her creator as’a common fairy’, her animated incarnation was a smash and has since become a widely recognized unofficial mascot of The Walt Disney Company, and the center-piece of its Disney Fairies media franchise including the direct-to-DVD film Tinker Bell. In her animated form she leaves a trail of twinkling pixie dust.
Tinker Bell has been one of Disney’s most critical branding icons for over half a century, and is generally known as’a symbol of ‘the sorcery of Disney’.’ She has been featured in T. V. Advertisements and program opening credits sprinkling elf sprinkle with her wand to shower an enchanting feeling over various other Disney personalities, though the 1953 animated version of Tinker Bell never actually utilized a wand.

Tinker Bell, an overpowering standout from the film, went on to be featured in numerous Walt Disney ventures. She made appearances on TV in the show Disneyland, which was done to promote the theme park Walt Disney was looking to complete. In addition, she was on Walt Disney Presents, Walt Disney’s wonderful arena of Color, and finally, The smashing arena of Disney.

Starting in 1961, she was also featured as a live performer who flew through the sky at the climax of some of the nightly fireworks displays. She was originally played by 71-year-old previous circus performer little Kline, up until her retirement 3 years on.
This film shows how Tinker Bell commenced and introduces us to several of her fairy buddies.
She remains great friends with the fairies she meets on the way.

In Nov of 2008, Disneyland opened pixie Hollow. This is a location at the fringe of Tomorrowland, toward Fantasyland.

With the appearance of Pixie Hollow, now you can meet Tinker Bell for the very first time! Tinker Bell, Rosetta, Iridessa and Silvermist hang out in Pixie Hollow. Each fairy likes to pose for pictures and sign autograph books.

Tinker Bell is a good subject for a costume for a selection of reasons. First off Tinkerbell is a well-loved character. Due to this, if you attend a costume party dressed as Tinkerbell, the subject of your outfit will be easily recognizable.
