Tinker Bell, is a fictional personality from J. M. Barrie’s 1904 play and 1911 novel Peter and Wendy. She has also appeared in multiple film and TV adaptations of the story, particularly the 1953 animated Walt Disney picture Peter Pan. She also appears in the’Peter and the Starcatchers’ book series by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry. Advertisements and program opening credits sprinkling elf sprinkle with her wand to shower an enchanting feeling over various other Disney personalities, though the 1953 animated version of Tinker Bell never actually utilized a wand.
Tinker Bell, an overpowering standout from the film, went on to be featured in numerous Walt Disney ventures. She made appearances on TV in the show Disneyland, which was done to promote the theme park Walt Disney was looking to complete.
